HPCSI runs a solar vocational training program at Vocatio Career Prep HS in Hunting Park. The program is a 20 class (40 hour) course that meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6-8pm, over the course of 10 weeks. Our learning environment prioritizes hands on training and graduates students OSHA 10 certified and job site ready to join a solar installation crew. HPCSI leverages its existing relationships with several solar installers to help our graduates find employment in solar companies. We just completed our fourth course in June 2024. Our next course will begin fall of 2024. This fiscal year (’24-’25), we will be running 3 courses, 1 of which will be bilingual English/Spanish. To learn more, email us at hpcsiphilly@gmail.com.
